People think of the Pacific Northwest and they think of rain. Grey clouds roll over evergreen forests dumping inches upon inches of big fat rain drops onto the denizens of this perpetually dreary locale. I grew up there. I love the rain. The beauty of this place provides me with tons of inspiration.

But the things that inspires me above all else are the whales and wildlife of the Salish Sea. I spend as much time as I can on or near the water observing and photographing what I see and this blog will be a place for me to record those moments. I hope you enjoy them!

If you are looking for ID help with your own photos feel free to send me a message and I'll be happy to see if I can provide IDs for you.
